New Karate Kid

I'm not big on watching a movie in a packed theater but guess what we did today? The venue was the Mililani megaplex and the movie was the remake of Karate Kid. Instead of Pat Morita and that skinny haole kid as teacher and pupil, the remake featured Jackie Chan and Wil Smith's son as T & P. This was opening day in Hawaii for the flick hence the packed house. An enjoyable time by the Turners, despite the crowd.

Happy 6th

On this day six years ago, Jacque and I were baptized into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Blood Drive Today

The Elder's Quorum of our church hosted the Blood Bank of Hawaii today for a blood donation drive. Forty-one (41) people signed up to donate with twenty-five (25) being able to donate. Since a pint of blood saves three lives, 75 lives were saved today.
