We had a nice dinner tonight as guests of
Joshua and Nola Steffen. They're members of our church and good friends. Dayle and Josh served together as counselors of the Elders Quorum for our ward.
The parmesan sauce we ate with pasta, streamed broccoli, and baked asparagus was the best and richest I've ever eaten.
For dessert, we had angel food cake a ala chocolate pudding made by Jacque. Ono.
After dessert, we played
parcheesi, a game I assented to because it did not require much thinking. Nola wiped us all out, despite our efforts to foil her victory.
We love the Steffens.
