One of good things about today is the progress of our backyard avocado and papaya trees. We planted this tree on New Year's Day 2007 as a symbol of growth in our lives.
Well, they have grown (as have Jacque and I) and both are bearing fruit (as have Jacque and I), the first time for the avocado and the too-many-to-count time for the papaya.
We've been counseled to live providently and be more self-sustaining, and our efforts in our backyard garden are indicators of our progress.
